Women In Safe Homes (WISH) opened its doors 36 years ago and has been advocating for Domestic Violence victims and providing shelter for them here in Muskogee since December 1st ,1986. As we celebrate our past we are looking forward to future and continuing providing services to those
affected and bring education opportunities to our community.
We have had several different locations throughout the years, for our office and shelter space while we
continued to serve Muskogee. We currently moved into our forever office space downtown Muskogee
on Broadway. We would like to send special thank you to the Locke family for their generous donation
of our office space, Bob and Sandy Locke has been longtime supporters of WISH over the years and they
didn’t want WISH to ever be without a home to serve Muskogee and continue the mission of advocating
and providing for those affected by Domestic Violence.
We are here to help provide awareness, support to those affected by Sexual and Domestic Violence. Our
